Lawrence Smith

Lawrence Smith is an experienced program manager with a strong focus on early childhood education and community development. Currently serving as Program Manager for Early Childhood Education at Reinvestment Fund since October 2022, Lawrence implements programs aimed at enhancing high-quality childcare in low-income areas. Previously, as a Pre-K Program Evaluator at NYC Department of Education from September 2017 to May 2022, Lawrence conducted over 75 assessments to ensure quality in Pre-K programs. Additional experience includes roles as Program Manager at NYC Department of Youth & Community Development, College & Career Counselor at Democracy Prep Public Schools, and Relationship Manager at UNCF. Lawrence holds an Executive Education degree in Leadership Development from Fox School of Business at Temple University, a Master of Science in Sports Administration, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Georgia State University.
