Dick Stoner has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Dick began their career at Reist Corporation in 1995, where they worked as a Broker and eventually became the Owner. In 2002, they joined The CoStar Group, Inc. as a Regional Research Director. In 2008, they worked at Metropolitan Regional Information Systems as a Manager for CIE360, a Catylist-based Commercial Real Estate Data Exchange. Dick also worked at MRIS as a Manager for CIE, where they contributed to the release of CIE360. In 2010, they held various roles as the Director of the Maryland Small Farm Cooperative and Peerless Rockville Historic Preservation, LTd, and in 2011, they worked as an Executive Sales for Microsoft initiatives at MadWolf Technologies. Since 2009, they have been working at Locale Chesapeake as a Director, focusing on helping small farms with marketing and source information for their products. Currently, they are also working on Environmental Credit Trading and assisting landowners in implementing environmental best practices in the Chesapeake Bay watershed.
Dick Stoner completed an MBA Program in Business Administration at The George Washington University School of Business from 1980 to 1982. Prior to that, they attended Vanderbilt University from 1974 to 1978, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Economics. Additionally, while at Vanderbilt University, they also pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General. In terms of certifications, Dick Stoner obtained an Associate Broker certification in Virginia Real Estate from the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation in May 2016.
