Vesa Koivisto

Vesa Koivisto has a strong background in automation and design engineering. Vesa is currently working at Enmac Oy as the Chief Designer for automation, where they provide design services and turnkey solutions for industrial needs. Prior to this, they worked at Rejlers Finland Oy as the Chief Design Engineer and at Neste Engineering Solutions Oy as the Chief Design Engineer for automation. Previously, they spent over 20 years at Neste Jacobs Oy as the Chief Design Engineer, gaining extensive experience in PLC and basic process control systems in the energy, chemicals, and pulp & paper industry. Vesa also had international commissioning projects and expertise in design, simulation, configuration, testing, and commissioning of PLC control loops, HMI, interlocking, and sequences. Vesa started their career in 1990 at Kotka Control as an Automation Engineer and later worked at Siemens Osakeyhtiö in the same role.

Vesa Koivisto completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree at Savonia University of Applied Sciences from 1986 to 1990.
