Deborah Duong

Deborah Duong has an extensive work experience in the field of artificial intelligence and software development. Deborah currently holds the role of Chief Technology Officer at Rejuve since August 2021, where they are responsible for overseeing the implementation of technology strategies. Prior to this, they were the Director of AI Development at Rejuve from August 2019.

Before joining Rejuve, Deborah worked at SingularityNET as an AI Researcher starting from January 2018. Deborah'sresponsibilities included conducting research in the field of artificial intelligence.

From December 2011 to October 2017, Deborah worked at DST Health as a Software Development Architect. Deborah'srole involved analyzing claims data using various techniques like NLP Neural Networks, Evolutionary Computation, Reinforcement Learning, and Bayesian Networks. Deborah also utilized programming languages and tools such as Deeplearning4j, Groovy, Java, SQL, Weka, and Eclipse.

Prior to that, they served as a Senior Operations Research Analyst at Augustine Consulting, Inc. from October 2009 to December 2011. Deborah'swork included being an AI Software Engineer and Computational Social Scientist at the US Army Training and Doctrine Analysis Center-Monterey. Deborah also contributed to the design team for the Human Social Cultural And Behavioral (HSCB) EXtensible Behavioral Modeling Open Source Framework.

Deborah's career also includes a role as a Senior Computational Social Scientist at SAIC from October 2006 to October 2009. Deborah'sresponsibilities involved using agent-based simulation, system dynamics, and war gaming to study the social effects of US government actions for irregular warfare. Deborah developed intelligent agent models using various techniques such as Evolutionary Computation, Reinforcement Learning, and Bayesian Networks.

Deborah started their professional journey as a Research Scientist at Virginia Tech from January 2006 to October 2006. Deborah applied natural language processing, artificial intelligence, and simulation to national and homeland security. Deborah also invented, designed, and implemented a voting system of open-source parsers weighted with Support Vector Machines.

Deborah Duong obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology and Anthropology / Mathematics and Computer Science from Virginia Commonwealth University, graduating in 1984. Deborah then pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer and Information Sciences from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, completing it in 1991. Deborah furthered their education by earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computational Sciences and Informatics from George Mason University in 2004.
