John Amanesi Abubakar

John Amanesi Abubakar is an experienced researcher in energy management currently working at Rekeep since June 2023. Prior to this role, John served as an Assistant Lecturer at Covenant University from February 2021 to May 2023, where contributions included teaching in Power Systems, Renewable Energy, Control Systems, and Artificial Intelligence, alongside fostering a dynamic learning environment and mentoring students. Previously, John worked as a Design Engineer at Kinetron Engineering and Safety, honing skills in modeling and design projects related to energy infrastructure, and has also gained diverse experience in electrical engineering and design during various internships and positions. John's educational background includes a Doctor's Degree in Digital Twin and Energy Management from Università di Bologna and both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Power Systems and Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Covenant University.
