Tal Katz

Tal Katz has a range of experience in the field of data analysis and GIS. Most recently, Tal worked as a Data Analyst at Rekor, starting in August 2021. Prior to that, Tal held the same role at Waycare, which was acquired by Rekor, from April 2021 to August 2021. Tal also has experience as a Data developer and GIS specialist at Geocartography Knowledge Group (GCKG) from May 2015 to April 2021. Additionally, Tal worked as a GIS and imagery analyst at Sightvision LTD (Pictometry International) from January 2014 to April 2015. Tal's earlier experience includes roles as a Research student and teaching assistant in Cartography and Remote Sensing at Hebrew University of Jerusalem from March 2011 to November 2013, and as a GIS Analyst at Tel Aviv University in 2009. Tal's first professional role was as a Scholarship Coordinator at HIAS from 2008 to 2010.

Tal Katz completed a Master's degree in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, Tal received a B.A. in Geography from Tel Aviv University, from 2006 to 2009. Additionally, Tal has obtained certifications in Advanced SQL for Query Tuning and Performance Optimization from LinkedIn in October 2020, and in AWS Certified Machine Learning - Specialty from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2022.
