Yonathan Ben Shitrit

Yonathan Ben Shitrit has a diverse work experience in the field of DevOps and IT engineering. Yonathan is currently working as a DevOps Manager at Rekor since August 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a DevOps Engineer at Waycare from April 2020. Yonathan also served as a DevOps Engineer at TrapX Security from March 2017 to March 2020, where they handled various responsibilities such as CI and CD, source control, automation testing platform, system monitoring, product development/implementation and integration, cloud operations, backend troubleshooting, and company operations. Before TrapX Security, Yonathan worked as an IT Engineer at Aternity from November 2013 to March 2017, where they were involved in AWS services management, advanced server maintenance, and troubleshooting. Yonathan started their professional career as a GIS Engineer at Intertown from May 2012 to July 2013, followed by a role as System Operation Center at CoolVision from April 2011 to May 2012. Yonathan also has military experience, having served as a Lieutenant in the IDF from 2008 to December 2010, where they were responsible for emergency mobile teams specializing in advanced mapping solutions, logistics, and manpower administration, as well as gear maintenance.

Yonathan Ben Shitrit began their education in 2013 at John Bryce, where they pursued a certification in RHCSA/RHCE in the field of IT. Yonathan completed this program within the same year. Continuing their education at John Bryce, Yonathan pursued further specialization in the field by obtaining a degree in RHCE6, which they completed in 2014. In addition to their academic achievements, Yonathan also obtained a certification as a Red Hat Certified Engineer from Red Hat in October 2014.
