Thu Nguyen has a diverse work experience in the field of real estate and affordable housing development. Thu started their career as a Research Associate at The Urban Institute, where they managed research contracts and focused on housing discrimination studies. Later, they worked as a Project Associate at The Community Builders, Inc., where they secured a public-private partnership project to develop mixed-income multifamily units and supported affordable housing projects in the Mid-Atlantic region. Thu also gained experience as a Summer Associate at Goldman Sachs, where they underwrote and invested in urban transformation projects in underserved markets. Currently, they are an Assistant Vice President at Related California.
Thu Nguyen completed their Master of Business Administration degree at The Wharton School from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with Honors in Urban & Regional Studies and Africana Studies from Cornell University, where they studied from 2006 to 2011.
