In addition, they have a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Bria has pursued further certifications to enhance their expertise. Bria obtained the Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR®) Certification from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) in December 2020. In August 2017, they also obtained the Professional in Human Resources certification from the HR Certification Institute. Recently, in March 2022, they completed Cybersecurity Awareness Training offered by ESET North America. Additionally, they acquired the Unconscious Bias certification from LinkedIn in March 2021.
