Bria Porter, MBA, SPHR has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources. Bria is currently working as the VP People at RelationalAI since March 2022. Prior to this, they founded their own HR consulting company, HRBP Consulting, in February 2022.

From November 2020 to February 2022, Bria served as the Head of People at HVR - a Fivetran Company. Bria was responsible for implementing HR strategies, systems, and policies that aligned with the organization's mission and goals. Bria also played a key role in talent acquisition, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and company-wide training.

Before joining HVR, Bria worked at APEX Analytix, LLC from 2014 to 2020 in various HR roles. As a Human Resources Manager, they acted as a consultative HR business partner for managers and employees worldwide. Bria managed international HR functions, spearheaded automation projects, and led strategic recruitment and selection processes.

Prior to APEX, Bria gained experience as a District Campus Recruiter at Fastenal from 2013 to 2015, where they led talent acquisition and recruitment efforts. Bria also worked as a Career Ambassador at the Bryan School of Business and Economics at UNCG from 2012 to 2014, where they promoted career services events and assisted students with resume preparation.

Bria's work experience also includes roles as a Sales Representative at dELiA*s from 2009 to 2013 and an Administrative Assistant at Allstate from 2009 to 2010.

Bria also obtained a Master in Business Administration (M.B.A) with a focus in Human Resources Management from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. In addition, they have a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Bria has pursued further certifications to enhance their expertise. Bria obtained the Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR®) Certification from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) in December 2020. In August 2017, they also obtained the Professional in Human Resources certification from the HR Certification Institute. Recently, in March 2022, they completed Cybersecurity Awareness Training offered by ESET North America. Additionally, they acquired the Unconscious Bias certification from LinkedIn in March 2021.
