Natalie R. has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Natalie began their career as a Student Web Developer at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 2005 and later worked as an Engineering Intern at Northrop Grumman Corporation in 2008. Natalie then joined Lockheed Martin as a Systems Engineer II, where they were responsible for creating resource plans and contingency planning. In 2011, they returned to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, where they taught physics and chemistry labs and tutored students. During this time, they also served as a Graduate Research Assistant, conducting research on synthetic jet actuators and developing feedback control laws. Natalie later worked at AFRL Munitions Directorate as a Graduate Student Researcher, contributing to research on synthetic jet actuators. Their most recent position was as a Junior Guidance, Navigation, and Control Engineer at Relative Dynamics Inc., where they utilized their engineering skills.
Natalie R. holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Engineering Physics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, which was obtained from 2015 to 2018. Prior to their PhD, they completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Engineering Physics from the same university from 2011 to 2014. Natalie also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, which they acquired from 2004 to 2008. In addition to their formal education, Natalie has obtained various certifications, including Capstone: Retrieving, Processing, and Visualizing Data with Python, Python for Everybody Specialization, Using Databases with Python, Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python), Python Data Structures, and Using Python to Access Web Data. These certifications were earned from Coursera in 2020, with some obtained in March and others in April.
