Matthew Marzilli

Matthew Marzilli is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and product management. Currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering at Relativity Space since March 2021, Marzilli leads software development efforts aimed at facilitating humanity's multiplanetary future. Prior to this, Marzilli held various roles at Google from 2008 to 2021, including Senior Staff Software Engineer and Engineering Manager for Google Lens, showcasing expertise in interactive media and monetization strategies. At Victorious, from 2014 to 2016, Marzilli directed product management and software engineering to empower creative communities through mobile platforms. Marzilli's early career included significant contributions at MIT Lincoln Laboratory, focusing on multicore processor programming. Marzilli holds a Master’s and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
