Raphael Napinas

Raphael Napinas is a skilled Flight Software Engineer Intern at Relativity Space since September 2024, with a robust background in avionics and embedded software engineering. Previously, Raphael served as the Avionics Software Lead at the Undergraduate Missiles, Ballistics, and Rocketry Association (UMBRA) and gained experience as an Embedded Software Engineer Intern at CONCEPT OVERDRIVE INC. Raphael has also been part of an Emergency Response Unit at Northrop Grumman and held the role of Embedded Software Engineering Research Lead at the Cal Poly Pomona Foundation. Additionally, during an internship at Boeing, Raphael implemented TcL-based unit testing for satellite commands. Raphael holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, complemented by a High School Diploma focused on Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from Don Bosco Technical Institute.
