Richard Aguirre is a seasoned quality engineering leader with extensive experience in the aerospace and defense sectors. As the Sr Manager of Quality Engineering at Relativity Space since August 2024, Aguirre previously held senior leadership roles including Senior Director of Global Quality at Adient Aerospace and Vice President of Global Quality at Avon Protection Systems. Key achievements include developing global quality systems, overseeing major compliance improvements, and implementing strategic roadmaps that resulted in significant revenue growth and operational efficiencies across multiple organizations. Aguirre's background also encompasses substantial contributions to quality management and process improvement at Spectrum Brands, AMETEK, B/E Aerospace, Honeywell Aerospace, and the US Army. Aguirre holds a BS in Chemistry/Life Science and Systems Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
