Eleni Deacon

Eleni Deacon has worked in a variety of roles in the marketing and communications field since 2009. Eleni began their career as an Editorial Intern at Eye Weekly in 2009 and then moved to DW Communications as a Publicity Coordinator in 2010. Eleni also worked as a Freelance Writer/Copywriter/Communications Specialist in 2010. In 2011, they were a Publicist at Holmes PR and a Writer/Editor at the Toronto International Film Festival. In 2012, they were the Communications & Outreach Coordinator at the Regent Park Film Festival. In 2013, they were a Web Writer for Comedy & Space at Bell Media. In 2014, they were a Project Manager at Sandbox - La Boite a Films Inc. From 2016 to 2021, they were at Roadmunk, first as a Content Strategist and Team Lead, then as VP Marketing, and finally as Head of Marketing. In 2021, they began working as VP of Marketing and then Head of Marketing at Relay Financial.

Eleni Deacon completed their Master of Arts in Communication & Culture from York University in 2012. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Toronto in 2008.
