Shezal Lalani, CPA, CA has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles.

In 2010, Shezal worked as an Administrative Assistant (Summer Employment) at BrokerTeam Mortgage Corporation.

The following year, in 2012, Shezal worked as a Summer Student at Scotiabank.

In 2013, Shezal worked as a Staff Accountant (Summer Coop) at KPMG Canada.

Shezal continued to work at KPMG Canada in 2014 and 2015 as a Staff Accountant (Coop).

From 2016 to 2018, Shezal held the position of Senior Accountant at KPMG Canada.

In the same company, from 2019 to 2022, Shezal worked as a Senior Financial Analyst and later as Manager, Finance at Kira Systems.

In February 2022, Shezal joined Litera as a Senior Manager, Financial Reporting.

In May 2022, Shezal became the Corporate Controller at Waabi until May 2023.

Currently, Shezal serves as the Director of Finance at Relay starting from April 2023.

Shezal Lalani, CPA, CA has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA Co-op) degree in Accounting from Wilfrid Laurier University, which they obtained from 2011 to 2015. Shezal also has an Ontario Secondary School Diploma from Richmond Green Secondary School, which they obtained from 2007 to 2011. In addition to their education, Shezal has obtained the CPA, CA certification from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) in April 2018. Shezal has also participated in the Strategic Finance Sprint Mentee program offered by Skillful, which they completed in July 2022.
