William Massengill

William Massengill has an extensive work experience in various financial roles. William currently serves as the Vice President of Finance at Relay Payments since 2023. Prior to this, they were an Advisor and Head of Finance at Craft.co from 2021 to 2023, where they successfully executed the company's financial and capital strategy, significantly increasing equity value. William raised over $55M in capital through multiple funding rounds and structures.

From 2018 to 2021, Massengill worked at Forum Ventures as a VC Scout, where they sourced and led due-diligence on investments and expanded sourcing channels to new markets.

From 2016 to 2021, they held the position of Principal in Direct Lending and Growth Equity at Libreum International. Massengill developed financial models, valuations, and advised on acquisitions, debt placements, and private equity placements.

In 2016, Massengill co-founded Hive Financial Systems and served as the Head of Finance. William successfully raised over $30MM in capital and generated a substantial increase in equity value through strategic financial planning.

Earlier in their career, Massengill held positions as a Senior Financial Analyst at McKesson, where they managed M&A transactions and integrated business units. William also worked as a Financial Analyst at The Home Depot, managing budgeting and financial analysis.

Additionally, Massengill gained experience as an intern at NationsBuilders Insurance Services, Inc., where they worked on projects for the finance, legal, and underwriting departments.

Massengill pursued an MBA from Emory University - Goizueta Business School in 2016.

William Massengill has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from Emory University - Goizueta Business School, where they focused on Finance, Healthcare, Strategy Operations, and Entrepreneurship. Prior to that, they obtained a B.B.A. degree from The University of Georgia, with a double major in Banking and Finance, as well as Risk Management and Insurance. Additionally, William has certifications as a CAIA Candidate and a Six Sigma Green Belt.
