Leslie O'Brien

Leslie O’Brien was one of the first freelancers to join Relay writing romances. From there, she shifted over to editing helping to create many of the concepts, outlines and stories Relay produces including romance, post apocalyptic, YA dragon fantasy, legal thrillers, and medical thrillers. As one of Relay’s newest Managing Editors, she’s looking forward to introducing new readers to many of the books that have held readers spellbound since 2013.

While earning her degrees in English (creative writing) and American Indian Studies, Leslie worked for an educational publisher. After graduation, she worked in acquisitions for an academic science publisher before shifting to medical science. She currently resides in San Diego, California, and when she isn’t working with Relay, she enjoys spending time outdoors growing a ridiculous amount of tomatoes, helping to TNR the local feral cat population, and helping the homeless to transition away from the San Diego river bottom and into housing.
