Dejan Maglic

Dejan Maglic currently serves as a Principal Scientist at Relay Therapeutics, where responsibilities include leading drug discovery efforts for oncology and genetic disease targets, overseeing late-stage discovery portfolios, and managing a team. With a strong background in drug discovery, Dejan has experience in writing pharmacology IND sections and leading translational research. Prior roles included Senior Scientist II and project team leader for small molecule drug discovery projects. Dejan's academic foundation includes a postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard University focusing on the Hippo/YAP signaling pathway in cancer, along with a PhD in Cancer Biology from Wake Forest University, where research focused on oncogenes and tumor suppressor mechanisms in breast cancer. Early research experiences include work as a research technician at Campbell University studying Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
