Piotr Strąk

Piotr Strąk began their work experience as a Junior Software Developer at Macrologic SA in July 2016. Piotr worked on a business process management software, utilizing a proprietary language and Java. Their tasks primarily involved using UI frameworks like Swing and JavaFX, and they also designed and implemented a RESTful web service.

In June 2017, Piotr joined relayr as a Software Developer. Here, they contributed to the development of microservices using Scala, along with Python scripting and Spark jobs. Additionally, they worked with Kafka and SQL databases, deploying their work on the Azure platform.

Piotr progressed within relayr to become a Scala IoT Developer in January 2020, and later assumed the role of Senior Backend Engineer in July 2021.

Piotr Strąk obtained their Engineer's degree in Information Technology from the University of Silesia in Katowice, starting in 2010 and finishing in 2013. After completing their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master's degree in Information Technology from the same university, starting in 2013 and completing it in 2015.
