Brenda Irwin is a seasoned venture capital professional with extensive experience in health technology investing. Currently serving as the Managing General Partner at Relentless Venture Fund since February 2018, Brenda focuses on early-stage investments in chronic disease management and preventive health solutions. Additional roles include Committee Chair of Horizon-AI at the Digital Technology Supercluster, Chair of the Independent Project Selection Committee for the Canadian Medical Isotope Ecosystem Development Fund, and Executive in Residence at Life Sciences BC. Brenda holds board positions with several companies, including Canary Medical Inc., Modality.AI, and Orpyx® Medical Technologies Inc. Previously, Brenda founded Angel Links Capital and was a Partner at BDC, where notable investments included Celator Pharmaceuticals. Educational credentials include a Master's in Business (Information Technology) from the Sauder School of Business and dual degrees in Human Biology and English from the University of Guelph.
