Thomas B. Rücker

Thomas B. Rücker has a diverse work experience. Starting in 2000, they co-founded and was a co-owner of werkstoff.bit. From 2006 to 2010, they worked as the owner of Rücker ITK, where they focused on IT consulting and project management in VoIP, Open Source, Networks, and Server environments. From 2010 to 2014, they worked at Tieto, first as an Open Source Evangelist and later as a Program Manager, leading the transformation of a location platform. At Huawei Technologies from 2016 to 2019, they served as an Open Source, Embedded Technologies, and Build Systems Expert, helping teams embrace Agile methodologies. From 2019 to 2021, they worked at Solera, Inc. as a Senior Product Owner. Currently, they serve as the Lead Product Owner at RELEX Solutions, starting in November 2021. In addition, since 2011, they have been the Project Maintainer for the Icecast streaming media project, where they have made valuable contributions.

Thomas B. Rücker obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Management from Poznańska Wyższa Szkoła Biznesu, specializing in Business Management and Computer Science, between 2007 and 2010. Thomas B. also pursued studies in Industrial Management at Tampere University of Technology from 2008 to 2009. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate education at Technische Universität Darmstadt, specializing in Electrical Engineering, Information, and Telecommunication Technology, from 2001 to 2007.
