Brian Friend

Brian Friend has over 20 years of work experience in the energy industry. Brian has held various leadership roles, including Vice President of Sales at Reliable Turbine Services LLC since 2020, VP of Business Development at CMI Energy Co., Ltd. from 2018 to 2020, and Regional Vice President at Eaton from 2015 to 2018. Brian also worked at Toshiba from 2011 to 2015, where they served as Director of Sales and Marketing and Manager of Key Account Sales. Prior to that, they held positions at Doosan Power Systems, Alstom Power, GE Energy, General Electric, and Pratt & Whitney, where they gained experience in business development, product marketing, and engineering.

Brian Friend received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, which they completed from 1988 to 1993. Brian then pursued further education at the same institution and obtained a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from 1993 to 1995. Additionally, Brian Friend has obtained two certifications in Six Sigma. In 2000, they earned a Six Sigma Greenbelt certification from GE Power & Water, and in 2005, they obtained a Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
