Phil Welch is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in cyber security and project management. Currently serving as the Head of Projects & Programmes at Reliance Cyber since July 2018, Phil leads a team delivering a variety of customer initiatives while ensuring exceptional satisfaction and proactive risk management. Previous roles include Senior Security Project Manager at Reliance Cyber, Cyber Security / Security Governance Assurance Manager at Worldpay, and Information Risk Consultant at Barclays, among others. Phil holds a PhD in Chemistry from The University of Reading and has completed various professional certifications, including CISSP, CRISC, CCSP, and CISM, alongside a PRINCE2 Practitioner qualification. Phil's educational background also includes a BSc in Geochemistry and NVQ Level 4 in Management.
