Amudalapally Venkata Venu Gopalrao has a strong background in risk management and claims handling. Amudalapally Venkata began their career in 1986 as a Production cum Maintenance Incharge in the Engineering Industry. Amudalapally Venkata then moved on to work in the Loss Prevention Association of India Ltd as a Safety, Loss Prevention & Risk Management professional for 15 years. In 2005, they joined ICICI Lombard as part of the Cutomer Services - Risk, Underwriting & Claims function team. In 2006, they joined Reliance General Insurance, where they held several positions including Head of Risk Engineering and Head of Risk & Commercial Claims. Amudalapally Venkata is currently functioning as the President of Risk & Commercial Claims at Reliance General Insurance. Throughout their career, they have achieved recognition and awards for their risk management services.

Amudalapally Venkata Venu Gopalrao completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) in Mechanical Engineering from Osmania University between 1982 and 1986. Amudalapally Venkata later pursued a Fellowship in Insurance from the Insurance Institute of India from 2016 to 2017.
