Arvind Pandey

Senior Vice President (project Procurement) at Reliance Industries

Arvind Pandey has extensive work experience in project procurement and engineering. Arvind started their career in 1988 as an Engineer in the Utility department of Century Rayon, where they were responsible for the operation and maintenance of turbines, generators, boilers, and other utilities. After four years, they moved to Century Rayon's Energy Audit department, where they conducted energy audits to improve specific energy consumption. In 1994, they joined Reliance Industries Limited as an Assistant Vice President of Project Procurement. Arvind has since been promoted to Vice President and Senior Vice President, leading procurement efforts for various projects, including captive power plants, refineries, petrochemical plants, and retail projects. Currently, they are handling the procurement of coal-based and gas-based power plants at Hazira and Dahej, as well as a gas-based power plant at Jamnagar. Arvind'smajor projects include coal and gas-based captive power plants, PTA, PP, MEG, POY, PSF, VCM, HDPE, Butadiene, Life Science, and Retail.

Arvind Pandey completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from COEP Technological University, from 1984 to 1988. Prior to that, they attended Century Rayon High School, Shahad, from 1976 to 1982. Arvind also pursued further studies in Finance, earning a PGDM and PGDFM from Indira Gandhi National Open University, although the specific start and end years are not provided.
