Balu Radhakrishnan

Balu Radhakrishnan is an experienced professional in the field of technology and project management, currently serving as Unit Head - Product Manager for H2 Technology at Reliance Industries Limited since July 2024. Prior to this role, Balu held various leadership positions at Thermax Limited from June 1993 to June 2024, including Head - New Projects, where responsibility included spearheading green initiatives such as fuel cell and green hydrogen projects, and developing the five-year R&D charter. Balu also established a new business in air-cooled products, overseeing the entire value chain from design to quality. With a strong background in technology and operations, responsibilities included planning and supply chain management, inventory oversight, and process optimization. Early career roles focused on innovation within the cooling and heating group, leading to several notable product developments and industry awards. Balu holds a Master’s degree in Thermal - Refrigeration and A/C from the College of Engineering, Guindy, Chennai.
