Hemalakshmi Raju

Hemalakshmi Raju serves as the Chief Learning Officer and Leader in Diversity & Inclusion at Reliance Industries Limited, holding this position since August 2018. In addition, Hemalakshmi is a member of the Harvard Business Publishing, Asia Pacific Leadership Advisory Board for Corporate Learning as of May 2023. Previous experience includes roles such as Global Head for Learning and Development at Cipla, where a significant transformation leading to the establishment of Cipla University was achieved, and multiple senior leadership roles at Tata Motors Ltd., contributing to the creation of Tata Motors Academy and advancing leadership development initiatives. Early career positions included General Manager at Reliance Industries Ltd. and Manager at VA Tech Wabag Ltd., where foundational learning functions were established. Hemalakshmi holds a Master’s degree from Madras School of Social Work and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Women’s Christian College.
