Rakshith S Rao

Rakshith S Rao is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in project management and cost control within the engineering and construction sectors. Currently serving as Deputy General Manager at Reliance Industries Limited since August 2025, Rakshith leads projects in the new energy vertical, specifically focusing on solar power plant financial efficiency. Prior to this, as Senior Manager at Tata Projects from September 2022 to August 2025, Rakshith was instrumental in enhancing project predictability and profitability across approximately 120 initiatives while spearheading the development of project management competencies. Rakshith also held key positions at Nandivardhan and Larsen & Toubro, managing teams and overseeing significant projects such as India's longest sea link bridge and various high-rise residential developments. Rakshith holds a Master of Technology in Structural Engineering from SRM IST Chennai and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from PES College of Engineering.
