Virendra Gupta

Virendra Gupta has over 30 years of work experience in research and development roles in various organizations. Virendra started their career in 1984 as a Researcher at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. In 1987, they joined Indian Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd as a Research and Senior Research Officer, where they focused on olefin and di olefin dimerisation to polymerization process development, catalysts chemistry, and product development. In 1996, Gupta moved to GHARDA CHEMICALS LIMITED as the R&D Head & Manager, before joining Reliance Industries Limited in 1999 as a Senior Vice President & R&D Chief Polymer. Virendra later became the Head of R&D Polymer and Senior Vice President at Reliance Industries Limited, where they have been working since 2013.

Virendra Gupta earned their Ph.D. in Chemistry from Banaras Hindu University in Banaras between 1980 and 1984. Prior to that, they attended Baptist Higher Secondary School in Agra and Govt Inter College in Barielly, although no degree or field of study information was provided for this period.
