Dr. Robert McDonald has extensive work experience in various fields. Dr. Robert served as the Vice President of Learning and Development at Reliance Matrix, a nationwide company specializing in absence management. Dr. Robert also worked as an Adjunct Professor at Robert Morris University, teaching in the PhD Program in Instructional Management & Leadership. Prior to that, they worked as an Associate Professor at Franciscan University and ran their own private law practice as an Attorney. Dr. Robert founded and developed Human Analytics, LLC, a Human Resource services firm providing consulting services in disability management and HR-related areas. Dr. McDonald also worked as an Attorney at David J. Scarpone & Associates, specializing in labor/employment law and civil litigation. Dr. Robert served as the Chairman of the Department of Administrative Systems at West Liberty University and worked as an Attorney at Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, focusing on toxic tort litigation, insurance defense, and civil litigation.
Dr. Robert McDonald holds a PhD in Instructional Management and Leadership from Robert Morris University, which they obtained in 2010. Dr. Robert also has a Juris Doctor Degree in Law from the University of Akron School of Law, completed between 1997 and 2000. In addition, they earned a Master of Business Administration Degree (MBA) from Franciscan University of Steubenville in 1997, and a Bachelor of General Studies Degree from Kent State University in 1994. Furthermore, they have received a Certificate in Business Analytics from The Wharton School in 2019. Dr. McDonald possesses several certifications, including being a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) since May 2014, a Certified LEAN Practitioner from the Six Sigma Global Institute (to be obtained in 2023), and certifications in employee benefit plans and insurance licensing. Dr. Robert is also a licensed attorney in the states of Ohio and West Virginia.
