Nicole Detling

Nicole Detling, PhD, CMPC, is a seasoned Mental Performance Coach currently working with ReliaQuest since July 2022 and serves as a Sport Psychology Consultant for USA Archery since April 2014, focusing on mental skills training for the USA Para-Archery Team. As the owner and senior consultant of HeadStrong Consulting, LLC, established in January 2000, Nicole leads a team of six consultants in delivering sport psychology services. Previous roles include Director of Mental Performance for USA Nordic Sport and Mental Performance Coach for Real Salt Lake, along with significant contributions to the University of Utah as Coordinator of Mental Performance and Lecturer. Nicole also provided sport psychology services for the US Ski and Snowboard Association and US Speedskating, contributing expertise at the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics and Vancouver 2010 Olympics, respectively. Educated at the University of Utah with a PhD in sport psychology, Nicole's academic contributions include teaching various undergraduate and graduate courses and directing the Applied Sport Psychology program.
