Deka Islan is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in managing financial operations across various international humanitarian organizations. Currently serving as the Roving Finance Manager for Relief International, Deka oversees accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting processes for country offices in Africa and Asia. Previous roles include Country Finance Manager and Finance Coordinator at Relief International, where Deka implemented financial management policies and prepared donor reports. Prior experience includes serving as an Award/Grants Officer at Save the Children International, where Deka improved grant monitoring systems, and as a Human Resources Associate at the International Rescue Committee. Deka holds a Master's degree in Accounting and Finance from Kampala International University.
