Gsm Rana

Gsm Rana has been working in the technology industry since 2014. Gsm began their career as an Embedded Systems Engineer at Pi Labs Bangladesh Ltd., where they designed and developed firmware for a vehicle tracking service. In 2015, they joined ReliSource as a Principal Embedded Software Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for driver development for an NDIR CO2 sensor, file system corruption protection for a USB MSC device, firmware development for a high accuracy temperature/humidity logger device, firmware development for a temperature logger with a real-time location tracker device, design and development of a PIC bootloader for USB firmware upgrade, design and development of a SAM4S bootloader for OTA firmware upgrade and FTM testing, and configuring USB CDC device driver in an Embedded CE 5.0 OS-based handheld device. Gsm also had embedded system hardware designing skills, strong firmware implementation skills, critical problem identification and solving skills, domain knowledge of cold chain products and services, and extensive knowledge of temperature and humidity sensors.

Gsm Rana obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Khulna University of Engineering and Technology between 2008 and 2013. In addition, they have obtained two certifications from Coursera: Algorithmic Toolbox and Embedded Software and Hardware Architecture.
