Alan Burns

Alan Burns currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Quality at Relmada Therapeutics, Inc. since April 2022. Previously, Alan held various leadership roles in quality assurance and operations, including Director of Quality Assurance at Purdue Pharma L.P. from 2015 to 2018 and Vice President of Quality at Romark Pharmaceuticals from 2013 to 2015. Other significant positions include Vice President of Global Quality Operations at Sartorius Stedim Biotech, Senior Director of Quality at Bayer Corporation Pharmaceuticals, and Biological & Manufacturing QA Manager at Abbott. Alan's career began as a microbiologist at Baxter International Inc. Alan holds a Master of Science in Pharmacy Administration and Pharmacy Policy and Regulatory Affairs from San Diego State University and a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from Arkansas State University. Additional educational credentials include studies at the Yale School of Management.
