Jay Prasad has over 13 years of work experience in the media and technology industries. In 2007, they began their career as the Director of Business Development at Blinkx. In 2009, they served as an Advisor for Media & Monetization at Cooliris until the company was acquired by Yahoo! in 2009. At Yahoo!, they held two roles as Strategic Account Director and Director of Video Advertising Sales & Strategy. In 2011, they joined FreeWheel as the Director of Strategic Development. In 2012, they were the Head of Strategic Sales at LiveFyre and was acquired by Adobe in 2016. In 2015, they joined VideoAmp as the Chief Strategy & Business Officer. In 2020, they joined LiveRamp as the Chief Strategy Officer for LiveRamp TV. Jay also serves on the Board of Directors at OpenFren and Relo Metrics.
Jay Prasad has an extensive education history. Jay obtained a BBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1997, majoring in Marketing, International Business, and Risk Management. Jay then went on to obtain an International Business Certificate and major from the London Business School in 1998. In 2013, they obtained a certification in IAB Programmatic from the IAB. Most recently, in 2019, they completed a Blockchain Technologies: Business Innovation and Application course from MIT Sloan Executive Education.
