Galen Sampson

Galen Sampson has extensive work experience in the field of operations, database administration, and software engineering. Galen currently serves as the Principal DevOps Architect at Reltio since September 2021. Prior to that, they worked at LogMeIn, where they held various roles including Director of Operations and Senior Manager of Operations Services. At LogMeIn, Galen facilitated team skill development in DevOps principles, implemented stateful sets clustering concepts, and explored moving bare metal deployments to Kubernetes. Before joining LogMeIn, Galen worked at Citrix Online, where they held positions such as Senior Manager of Database and System Administration, Manager of Database Systems, Senior Database Administrator, and Database Administrator. During their time at Citrix, they were responsible for managing remote teams, upgrading database systems, implementing automation and configuration management, and working with Oracle technologies. Galen also has experience as a Software Engineer, where they developed in-house business reporting infrastructure and implemented metric reports. Throughout their career, Galen has demonstrated proficiency in various technologies and a strong focus on automation and system optimization.

Galen Sampson obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from UC Santa Barbara, graduating between 1998 and 2002.
