Atanas Prodanov

Atanas Prodanov is an experienced Chief Officer currently serving at Rem Offshore since April 2017, with a strong background in the oil and energy industry as head of the deck department. Previously, Atanas held the position of Chief Officer with STAMCO SM from October 2010 until June 2017, focusing on car carrier vessels and assuming responsibilities as the ship’s Safety, Security and Cargo Officer. Atanas began the maritime career as a 2nd Officer on car carrier vessels, handling navigational watch duties, passage planning, and assisting in security and safety matters. Atanas holds a Master’s degree in Marine Navigation, Transport Management and Waterways Preservation from the Technical University of Varna, completed in 2010.
