Momchil Borisov

Momchil Borisov is an experienced maritime engineer with a strong background in ship maintenance, operations, and safety management. Currently serving as Chief Engineer at Rem Offshore since May 2018, Momchil leads safety culture and procedures on a PSV DP 2 vessel supporting the Wind Farm Project in France. Previous roles include First Engineer and Third Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed the operation and maintenance of various engineering systems on vessels in the North Sea and at wind farm projects in the Netherlands and Belgium. Earlier experience includes positions as Second Engineer with Vestland Offshore AS on seismic/research vessels and with Luxury Marine Charter PTY on a motor yacht, as well as serving as Engineer Officer of the Watch on oil chemical tankers with THENAMARIS. Momchil holds both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Marine Maintenance and Naval Architecture from Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy.
