Jørgen Sagen Paulsen

Jørgen Sagen Paulsen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Jørgen started their career as a Sales Associate at Rimi Norge in 2000 and later worked as a Sales Consultant at Elkjop Nordic AS. Jørgen then transitioned into the IT field, working as an IT Consultant/Manager at BESTSELLER, where they were responsible for IT operations in 250 stores in Norway. After that, they joined Wincor Nixdorf as a Senior Systems Consultant and later as a Software Consultant, where they implemented and provided support for cash management solutions and retail software. Jørgen then worked as an IT Consultant at Coop Norge before joining REMA 1000 Norge, where they have held various roles, including Product Owner/Business Developer and Manager Retail IT/Driftssjef IT i Butikk. In their current role, they are responsible for managing in-store IT services, infrastructure, payment systems, and POS solutions, among other responsibilities. Jørgen has also been involved in project management and has advised various departments within the company on retail IT matters.

Jørgen Sagen Paulsen completed a Postgraduate Diploma (Masters Level) in Electronic Commerce at Murdoch University from 2003 to 2004. Jørgen then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Informatics/Computer Science at Sør-Trøndelag University College (HiST) from 2000 to 2003. Prior to that, they completed a one-year study program in Informatics at Nord-Trøndelag University College (HiNT) from 1999 to 2000. In 2011, Jørgen attended BI Norwegian Business School part-time to study Project Management. Additionally, in December 2012, they obtained an ITIL Foundation v3 certification.
