Jonas Carlson Almqvist

Jonas Carlson Almqvist is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in digital business development and technology leadership. Currently serving as a Digital Business Developer and Product Owner at SkiStar AB since September 2021, Jonas also founded and leads Virtualsweden, focusing on creating virtual worlds for the VR revolution. Previously, as Tech Lead at Nordic Leisure Travel Group AB from 2007 until 2021, Jonas was involved in innovative projects such as implementing a digital keys pilot in partnership with ASSA Abloy. Additional roles include Tech Lead at Ving Sverige and Thomas Cook Northern Europe, alongside system development positions in various travel-related companies. Jonas began a diverse career as a web developer at Södersjukhuset and as a singer and composer in the industrial music group Trak Dah, showcasing a multifaceted skill set ranging from technology to the arts.
