Poppy Sykes

Poppy Sykes currently serves as the Manager of the ON Innovation Program at CSIRO, focusing on transforming research breakthroughs into real-world impact. Alongside this role, Poppy holds a board position with So They Can, an NGO dedicated to breaking the poverty cycle in East Africa through education. As a co-founder of the Binalong Twilight Festival, Poppy facilitates community engagement and supports local causes through event profits. Prior experience includes founding Powered by Purpose Pty Ltd, where strategic and innovative solutions for various sectors were developed, and working as a startup coach at Remarkable, assisting tech startups for people with disabilities. Additionally, Poppy has held leadership roles at Commonwealth Bank, Futurestep, and NYSE, contributing to client and employee innovation programs, employer branding, and talent management solutions. Academic credentials include a BA from the University of Leeds, a Stanford Innovation and Entrepreneurship Certificate, and a Diploma in Digital Marketing from CIM.
