Lisa Hawkins

Lisa Hawkins possesses extensive experience in both mental health counseling and real estate management. Currently serving as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Mercy Medical Center since October 2021, Lisa specializes in delivering in-person and telehealth services with a focus on DBT, CBT, mindfulness, and yoga therapies. Additionally, as the Owner Manager of the August Real Estate Team, Inc. at RE/MAX, Lisa has overseen over $80 million in transactions and received multiple sales leadership awards. Previous roles include academic advising and counseling at Des Moines Area Community College, as well as directing energy efficiency programs at Franklin Energy. Lisa holds multiple degrees, including a Master's in Marketing and Public Relations from the University of Iowa, a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at Liberty University.
