Abdelrahman Mohamed

Abdel-rahman Mohamed is a seasoned professional in the field of artificial intelligence, currently serving as Co-founder and Head of AI at Rembrand since December 2022. Prior experience includes a notable tenure as Research Director at Meta AI, part of the FAIR team, from September 2018 to December 2022, and serving as Principal Scientist/Senior Manager at Amazon from May 2017 to August 2018. Abdel-rahman also held the position of Research Scientist at Microsoft from December 2014 to May 2017, and conducted doctoral research at the University of Toronto from 2008 to 2014, earning a PhD in Computer Science. Additional roles as a researcher at IBM and Microsoft, along with positions at KU Leuven and Research & Development International, further underscore a robust research background. Academic qualifications include a PhD from the University of Toronto, an MSc in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Cairo University, and a BSc in the same field from Cairo University.
