Miro Vesterinen has a strong background in environment art, with experience ranging from junior to leadership roles. They started their career as a Games Artist intern at Fragment Production Ltd in 2013 and later worked as a Part-time Lecturer at Kajaani University of Applied Sciences in 2014. In 2015, Miro joined REBORN Interactive as a 3D Artist, where they handled various responsibilities including outsource management and asset creation. They also mentored and supervised two other 3D artists.
In 2016, Miro joined Remedy Entertainment Plc as a Junior Environment Artist and subsequently progressed to roles such as Senior Environment Artist, Lead Environment Artist, and currently serves as the Head of Environment Art. Their expertise in environment art has been recognized and they have contributed significantly to the development of Remedy Entertainment's projects.
Alongside their full-time roles, Miro has also worked as a Game Art mentor at Game Art Collective from an unspecified date in 2018 until October 2021. They are currently an Online Mentor & Class Supervisor at Think Tank Training Centre, starting from October 2021.
Miro Vesterinen attended Kajaani University of Applied Sciences from 2011 to 2014, where they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in the field of Computer games art. Additionally, in 2012 and 2013, they studied Computer games design, art, and animation at Teesside University. Prior to their university education, they attended Savonlinna Senior Secondary School of Art and Music from 2006 to 2010, although specific degree and field of study information is not provided for this period.
