Sven Jacobson

Sven Jacobson has a diverse work experience with a focus on the pharmaceutical industry. Sven is currently the CEO and Co-Founder of Woolsey Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a clinical stage pharmaceutical company. Prior to that, they held the same role at Martin Pharmaceuticals, Inc., where the company focused on repurposing approved drugs for different patient needs. Sven also co-founded Remedy Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a pharmaceutical company focused on CNS-related illnesses and injuries. In addition, Sven served as a board member and co-founder of Critical Diagnostics, a company that develops biomarkers for cardiovascular diseases. Sven has also been a partner at Carrot Capital / Carrot Capital Healthcare Ventures, overseeing the operations and development of several healthcare startups. Sven has served as an advisory board member for ReNetx.com, a board member for Access Scientific, Inc., Cure Therapeutics, Inc., and Lean Forward Media, LLC, and as a board observer for Motia.

Sven Jacobson pursued their education at the University of the Witwatersrand, where they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from 1988 to 1991. After gaining knowledge in this field, they further expanded their expertise by pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the same university. Sven's MBA studies took place between 1993 and 1994.
