Ali Ekin Gurgen has had a varied and impressive work experience. In 2021, they began work as a Machine Learning Engineer at Remedy Robotics. In 2020, they were a Software Engineering Intern at Ford Otosan and a Robotics Engineering Intern at Samsung Research AI Center. In 2018, they were an Engineering Intern at DENSO, a Research Assistant at Princeton University IRoM Lab, a Physics Tutor at McGraw Center, and a Member at Princeton Robotics Club. In the Research Assistant role, they developed an online motion planning policy that utilizes computer vision, neural networks, and funnel libraries to plan collision-free paths that are robust to bounded unknown uncertainties and can generalize to novel environments.
Ali Ekin Gurgen attended Robert College from 2012 to 2017, graduating with a High School Diploma. Ali Ekin then attended Princeton University from 2017 to 2021, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE) in Mechanical Engineering.
