Cofounder and CTO at Remedy Robotics

Jake Sganga has a diverse work experience in the fields of robotics, bioengineering, and biomedical engineering. Jake began their career in 2010 as a Research Assistant for the Duke Neurogenetics Study. In 2011, they worked as a Tutor for the Duke Peer Tutoring Program and as a Research Assistant for the Duke High Energy Physics. In 2012, they held an R&D Engineering Internship with MindFrame Inc. and completed an Independent Study at the Injury and Orthopedic Biomechanics Laboratory. In 2013, they worked as a Biomedical Engineer for Flex Partners Inc. In 2017, they were a Systems Engineering Consultant for Auris Surgical Robotics, Inc. In 2019, they worked as a Robotics Engineer for Artificial. Currently, they are a Cofounder and CTO of Remedy Robotics.

Jake Sganga attended LBHS for their high school education. Jake then pursued a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University from 2009-2013. In 2014, they completed a Master's degree in Bioengineering from Stanford University. Jake then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Bioengineering from Stanford University, which they completed in 2019.
