Franklin Keck is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of RemePhy, a biotech startup launched from PhD research at Imperial College London, where Franklin has also been a Doctoral Student since October 2018. Franklin's academic background includes a PhD in Chemical Engineering and a Master's degree in Systems and Synthetic Biology from Imperial College London, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. Franklin's research experience spans various roles, including work on genetic engineering for phytoremediation, biochemical assay optimization, and contributions to conservation efforts for the critically endangered white abalone. Franklin has also collaborated with prestigious groups such as Conception X and the Niyogi Group at UC Berkeley and has engaged in independent marine research in French Polynesia.
