Lauren Kim has over 20 years of experience in writing and editing. Lauren began their career in 1998 as a Copy Editor and Feature Writer for Soap Opera Digest at Primedia. In 2000, they became the Managing Editor at Unique Homes/NCI and Unique Homes. In 2005, they were a Senior Editor at The Wall Street Journal Online Network, where they coordinated online packages on housing market and home and garden topics and wrote and edited real estate content for RealEstateJournal.com. From 2008 to 2010, they were a freelance writer/editor for LBK Editorial, LLC and a Head Blogger for Fidelity National Title's Cyberhomes.com blog. In 2010, they also began blogging for AOL Real Estate and Patch.com. In 2012, they founded www.momhomeguide.com, a website for moms on creating the perfect family home. In 2021, Lauren Kim began working as a Content Writer at ReminderMedia.

Lauren Kim attended Bryn Mawr College from 1985 to 1989, where they earned a B.A. in Psychology, with a concentration in French and English literature.
