Durai Perumal has extensive experience in the hospitality industry, specifically in finance and management roles. Durai most recently worked as the Director of Finance at Remington Hotels, starting in December 2022. Prior to that, they held the same position at Aimbridge Hospitality from September 2022 to December 2022. From 2020 to 2022, they served as the Director of Finance at Crescent Hotels & Resorts. Before that, they worked at PM Hotel Group as the Complex Director of Finance from 2018 to 2020 and as the Director of Finance from 2017 to 2020. Their experience also includes being the Director of Finance at StepStone Hospitality from 2015 to 2017 and at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. in 2015. Durai worked as the Financial Controller at Chandler Hotels from 2012 to 2015 and as the Director of Finance at Highgate Hotels from 2006 to 2012. Durai Perumal holds a Master's degree in Hospitality Administration/Management from Johnson & Wales University-Providence, which they obtained from 1993 to 1996. Prior to that, they earned another Master's degree in Transportation and Highway Engineering from Morgan State University from 1991 to 1993. Their undergraduate studies were completed at RV College Of Engineering from 1985 to 1990, where they received a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
